This course is approved by the CA EMSA (California Emergency Medical Services Authority), is OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) compliant and fulfills the authority-approved training for pediatric CPR and pediatric first aid.  CPR and First Aid Stickers included.

EMS Safety Services Childcare Provider CPR & First Aid Certification Course:

 The course is divided into two four-hour segments.

CPR training (4 hours) teaches you to:

  • Adult and Pediatric Chain of Survival
  • CPR Overview
  • C-A-B Sequence
  • Assessment and Calling for Help
  • Adult, Child, Infant CPR (pediatric emphasis)
  • AED use
  • Special AED Considerations
  • AED Safety

 First Aid training (4 hours) teaches you to:

 Recognize and treat many first aid injuries and emergencies.

  • First Aid Assessment (pediatric emphasis)

  • EMSA Asthma Care Training Video (Required by EMSA)

Your EMS Safety Emergency Response for Childcare Provider Card states:

The holder of this card has successfully completed the training and skills testing required for certification in the course(s) specified. Training is consistent with the most current AHA and ECC Guidelines, and the International First Aid Science Advisory Board, and meets or exceeds the requirements by Federal OSHA for the designated workplace responder.
